Kobe Tower – Kobe, Hyogo

Kobe Tower stands at 108 metres tall and is the highest structure you will observe skirting the port town. Featuring a see-through glass floor from 75m above and a stunning colour display of 7000 LEDs at night. It lights up one of the more romantic destinations of the Hyogo area.

Built in 1963, it was the first of its kind to be built from a pipe structure. It’s shape is also similar in form to that of a Japanese drum.

It offers a panoramic 360 degree from its viewing floor. From there you can enjoy exquisite sights like the Rikko Mountains, Osaka Bay and Kobe Bay. Inside you will also find a souvenir shop and revolving cafe.

Kobe Tower is open from 9:00-19:00 in Winter (December through to February) and 9:00 to 21:00 during the rest of the year. General Admission prices are 600 yen for adults and 300 yen for children. Check out the Kobe Tower website for further info.
